ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

FLAMINGOS & BIRTHDAY SIGN - $40

Each year Keller Cheer flocks a limited number of yards throughout the community as one of their fundraisers. These famous flamingos can make a special appearance at your home for the birthday girl. They arrive the evening prior to, or the morning of the party with a special "Happy Birthday" wish for the birthday child and then fly home with the cheerleaders.

PARTY FAVORS & SUPPLIES

• Birthday Girl Megaphone:
  • A 13” white megaphone personalized with the birthday girl’s name and Keller logo is included in the Gold, Blue, and White packages for the birthday girl. These lightweight megaphones are molded of heavy-duty, durable plastic.
  • Individual megaphones may be purchased for $18.
• Poms
• A pair of poms are included in ALL packages for the birthday girl.
• Gold and Blue packages include pom poms for up to 8 guests as party favors.
• Individual poms can be purchased for $5 per pair, for an additional party favor.

 ACTIVITIES 

Based on the package selected, the cheerleaders will be at the party either 90, 60 or 30 minutes. You and your child will choose the activities to take place and the order of activities. This is flexible and usually determined as the party is in progress depending on the birthday girl and guests.

GAMES

Games will usually depend on the age group and number of guests. Some example games are:

• Ships & Sailors/Captain's Calling

Assign one person to be the "Captain." The role of the Captain is to call out the actions and dismiss the players who don't do the actions quick enough or who break from character. Once the captain calls an action, each player has 3-4 seconds to start performing the action. If they don't find a group fast enough or perform the right action, they are out of the game. Here is an explanation of each of the actions...

Captain's Coming!: Everyone stands at "attention" (in a salute), and they can’t move from this position until the caller says, "At Ease!" If they laugh or break from the attention, they are dismissed.

§  To the ship!: Players run to the right.

§  To the shore!: Players run to the left.

§  2/3/4/5 men rowing: 2/3/4/5 players. Get in a line and pretend to row a boat while

§  Hit the deck- fall to the floor on your stomach singing "row row row your boat".

§  Sea Sick: Pretend to throw up.

• “Captain” or “Coach” Says

Version of 'Simon Says' with commands such as

·         High V

·         Jump - Right Hurdler

·         Jump - Toe Touch

·         'Ready'

·          'Facial'

·         'L' Motion

·         Touchdown

• Little Sally Walker

The girls get in a circle and sing the following while taking turns to be in the middle.

“LITTLE SALLY WALKER WALKING DOWN THE STREET

SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO SO SHE JUMPED IN FRONT OF ME AND SAID

HEY GIRL SHAKE THAT THING SHAKE THAT THING AND STOP”(REPEAT)

• Coconut & Palm Tree Game

This game incorporates Rock, Paper, Scissors into the following characters and actions:

Coconut (walking on knees or squatting with bent knees)

Palm Tree (swaying arms overhead)

Volcano (jumping using arms as lava)

King or Queen Kamehameha  (doing a princess wave)

All players start as a coconut.  They find another coconut and play Rock, Paper, Scissors.  Whoever wins, evolves and becomes a palm tree, whoever loses remains a coconut.  Palm trees then find other palm trees and repeat the Rock, Paper, Scissors.  The game continues until one palm tree is left.
